What's New
At our studio, Chistopher designs furnishings for the home, office or patio. These designs are created directly in steel by the hand-forging technique. Steel is heated in the forge until is is red hot, then Christopher and his assistants hammer, stretch and bend the pliable steel quickly at various anvils to shape it into the desired form. More shaping, sizing, welding, buffing and straightening follow. Each piece is then hand-finished with one of four finishes. Our finishes are painstakingly achieved and each piece is inspected several times to assure beauty and excellent craftsmanship. All pieces are stamped with the Christopher Thomson logo, assuring you of its authenticity.

All of this attention to detail results in elegant steel home furnishings that complement various decor and will last for generations. In addition to the designs offered in our catalogue, we make custom pieces and design and construct larger architectural works. Christopher also makes sculptures forged of steel and bronze for your garden or home. Please contact us with your ideas.
